About me

One of the original OpenRefine designers and testers. Now retired, but during my career I was a hands-on data architect where I programmed and worked with databases, data workflows, semantic disambiguation strategies, ontology upkeep for mostly very large businesses in the USA. I also worked for a public library for 6 years gaining knowledge with MARC21, cataloging systems, and lots of ISO standards. I have also volunteered helping in various ontologies and semantic and linked data efforts, namely Schema.org and JSON-LD.
