Civic Engagement and Europe at School: European Service-Learning

How can school students experience civic engagement and at the same time get a hands-on understanding of Europe? Through European Service-Learning.
Service-Learning combines academic learning in the classroom with meaningful civic engagement – making democracy, responsibility, and European cooperation tangible.
In this session, we will explore the concept of Service-Learning and take a look at international project examples. We'll discuss opportunities for European school cooperation within the Erasmus+ framework and reflect on how European Service-Learning can be implemented in practice.
Additionally, we will share information about international training opportunities, relevant Service-Learning materials – and connect interested participants with potential European partner organizations.
