It is important to emphasize that shared natural resources have always been a catalyst for cooperation among States, communities and even people. However, not only do they offer benefits both economic and geographical, but they also create responsibility which has to be equally shared by all the States. The end goal is not to deplete a natural resource but to sustainably utilize it with peaceful cooperation among all the stakeholders involved.
