The first SecCamp Cologne will take place on the weekend of June 15 and 16, 2019.
The SecCamp Cologne is an independent Barcamp on all things security. It is aimed at everyone with an interest in application, network, and information security. Topics cover the security of software, hardware, cloud services, networks and industrial controls, security in the daily practice of companies and private users, human factors in security and current research topics from these areas.
The event format of the Barcamp is an open conference (Unconference or Open Space) with several sessions. The participants actively participate in the Barcamp through workshops, talks, questions and discussions. The topics will be discussed together in the morning and can be proposed in English or German. Note that a promotion of own products or services is not desired though.
Participation is free, but prior registration is required. Food and drinks will be provided by the sponsors of the event. The number of participants is limited.

Am Wochenende des 15. und 16. Juni 2019 findet das erste SecCamp Cologne statt.
Das SecCamp Cologne ist ein unabhängiges Barcamp rund um Informationssicherheit. Es richtet sich an alle mit Interesse an Datensicherheit, Sicherheit von Software, Hardware, Clouddienste, Netzwerken und Industriesteuerungen, Sicherheit in der Praxis von Unternehmen und Privatanwendern, Human factors in security und aktuellen Forschungsthemen aus diesen Bereichen.
Das Veranstaltungsformat des BarCamps ist eine offene Tagung mit mehreren Sessions. Die Teilnehmer gestalten das Barcamp aktiv mit durch Workshops, Vorträge, Fragen und Diskussionen. Die Themenfindung findet jeweils morgens gemeinsam vor Ort statt. Themen können auf Deutsch oder Englisch behandelt werden. Die hauptsächliche Bewerbung und Präsentation eigener Produkte oder Dienstleistungen ist nicht erwünscht.
Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos, eine vorherige Anmeldung ist jedoch erforderlich. Für Essen und Getränke ist durch die Sponsoren der Veranstaltung gesorgt. Die Teilnehmerzahl ist begrenzt.
