Rules for Session Participants
The law of the feet
If you don't (anymore) profit from a session and you can't (anymore) contribute anything, then leave it in peace and with self-evidence. Look for a new, already running session or take a break.
Et kütt wie et kütt
Sessions do not follow a fixed schedule. Address the concerns of others and your own. Be considerate and attentive to others. This is what the session lives on, this is what makes it alive. Whether it was the way you thought it was afterwards is not so important. Be prepared to be surprised.
It stops when it stops
The timeslot of the session ends at a certain time. But if everything has been said before, the session can stop before.
Responsibility for Sessions
All participants - the session leader as well as everyone else - are jointly responsible for ensuring that the session brings something to all participants. A participant should document the most important findings from the session in the respective Etherpad (see time grid on website) for the session.
Special Features for the Session Leader
As a session leader, you should of course only make use of the "law of the feet" when the session is over. In the rare case that nobody appears at your session, please wait 10 minutes - maybe someone else will come. You can use this time to briefly document the planned contents in the Etherpad.
A few simple and self-evident rules:
To make the Barcamp a positive experience for everyone, we expect you to behave in a considerate and respectful manner and to strive for understanding and cooperation in order to avoid unnecessary conflicts right from the start.
Unacceptable are in particular insults of all kinds; conscious intimidation, stalking, and persecution; unwanted photography or recording; repeated disturbance of lectures and other events; unwanted physical contact and harassment. This applies to sponsors and participants alike. Anyone who cannot follow these simple rules will be excluded from the Barcamp (without prior warning, without reimbursement of costs).
Notify the Organizing Team or others present if you notice a dangerous situation or that someone is in distress, even if the matter seems trivial at first.

Wenn Du von einer Session nicht (mehr) profitierst und du auch nichts (mehr) beitragen kannst, dann verlasse sie in Ruhe und mit Selbstverständlichkeit. Suche Dir eine neue, schon laufende Session oder pausiere.

Sessions folgen keinem festgelegten Plan. Gehe auf die Anliegen der anderen ein und auf Deine eigenen. Sei den anderen gegenüber rücksichtsvoll und aufmerksam. Davon lebt die Session, davon wird sie lebendig. Ob es hinterher so war, wie Du es Dir vorher gedacht hattest, ist nicht so wichtig. Sei darauf vorbereitet, überrascht zu werden.
Es hört auf, wenn es aufhört
Der Timeslot der Session ist zwar zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit zu Ende. Aber wenn vorher schon alles gesagt ist, kann die Session auch vorher aufhören.
Verantwortung bei Sessions
Alle Teilnehmenden — der Session-Leader genauso wie alle anderen — sind gemeinsam dafür verantwortlich, dass die Session allen Teilnehmenden etwas bringt. Ein Teilnehmer sollte die wichtigsten Erkenntnisse aus der Session in dem jeweiligen Etherpad (s. Zeitraster) zur Session dokumentieren.
Besonderkeiten für den Session-Leader
Als Session-Leader solltest du vom „Gesetz der Füße“ natürlich erst Gebrauch machen, wenn die Session zu Ende ist. Im seltenen Fall, dass niemand zu deiner Session erscheint, warte bitte 10 Minuten — vielleicht kommt ja noch jemand. Diese Zeit kannst du nutzen, um die eigentlich geplanten Inhalte kurz im Etherpad zu dokumentieren.
Ein paar einfache und eigentlich selbstverständliche Regeln:
Damit das Barcamp zu einer positiven Erfahrung für alle wird, erwarten wir von Dir ein rücksichts- und respektvolles Benehmen sowie ein Bemühen um Verständnis und Zusammenarbeit, um unnötige Konflikte von vorneherein zu vermeiden.
Inakzeptabel sind insbesondere Beleidigungen aller Art; bewusste Einschüchterung, Stalking, und Verfolgung; unerwünschtes Fotografieren oder Aufnehmen; wiederholte Störung von Vorträgen und anderen Veranstaltungen; unerwünschter körperlicher Kontakt und Belästigung. Dies gilt für Sponsoren und Teilnehmende gleichermaßen. Wer sich nicht an diese einfachen Regeln halten kann, wird vom Barcamp ausgeschlossen (ohne Vorwarnung, ohne Erstattung von Kosten).
Mache das Orgateam oder andere Anwesende darauf aufmerksam, wenn Du eine gefährliche Situation bemerkst oder, dass jemand in Bedrängnis ist, selbst wenn die Sache zunächst belanglos erscheint.
